While Elizabeth no longer accepts litigation cases, her 35-plus years of litigation experience involved defending a broad range of statutory and common law employment claims, with special emphasis on retaliation and claims under the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, TCHRA,Title VII, and the Texas Payday Law.
Her practice also includes a long history of effectively representing businesses in government investigations and audits conducted by the DOL, EEOC, OSHA, and the Texas Workforce Commission. Start with Retaining Good Counsel
Regardless of the forum, the client will be provided with information about its legal options, advice about the kinds of evidence to marshal and protect, and a guide through the end of the process as the charge, audit, or investigation presents unexpected demands and twists and turns. Business interests are better served by retaining good counsel at the start of a legal action, rather than operating based on guesswork and regretting that only after committing significant errors.
